Meet Your ECE Graduate Student Ambassador: Anagha Manjunatha
Q&A with Anagha
Tell us where you are from and what you are studying at Virginia Tech.
I’m an Indian student who joined Virginia Tech in Fall 2024 as a Master’s student in Computer Engineering. I’m excited to dive into my studies and see where this journey takes me!
What you enjoy most about being a Virginia Tech student?
What I enjoy most about being a Virginia Tech student is the sense of community. There’s something really special about walking around campus and seeing familiar faces, whether it’s a classmate in the dining hall or a friend on the Drillfield. The camaraderie during game days is unmatched, and I love how we all come together to cheer on our teams, even if I can’t name all the players. Plus, the campus squirrels strut around like they own the place, and honestly, I aspire to their level of confidence!
What advice would you give current and upcoming ECE graduate students?
First, network like it’s your secret weapon - get to know your professors and peers! Second, don’t hesitate to ask questions and I’m here to answer all your questions.
